Greetings Alpha Chi Omega Sisters,

Welcome to a new program year for Mu Mu Chapter.

As I begin my term as president, I'd like to challenge those of you who have been thinking about participating "someday," to come join us this year. We have a variety of programs to choose from, come to one or all. Many of our events have become traditional favorites: Wine and Cheese, Founders' Day Dinner, and White Elephant Auction to name a few.

Our nominal dues help finance collegiate support, our national philanthropy, domestic violence support, and local alumnae activities. Mu Mu provides many opportunities to continue to build on the four values of our fraternity--friendship, leadership, learning and service.

Whether you are a recent grad, new to Kansas City or just new to Mu Mu, we want to welcome you. Attending one meeting last year we had members from nine different chapters of initiation, which made for a wonderful mix of interesting women! I cherish all the sisters I have met over the years through Alpha Chi and look forward to meeting many more.

In closing, I'd like to thank all the dedicated members who continue to loyally pay their dues, open their homes as hostesses, volunteer as co-hostesses, serve on the board, or support our fundraisers; it is your commitment that makes Mu Mu what it is today. Your support is very appreciated. I look forward to serving as your President, as we all work together to strengthen our sisterhood.
